Very knowledgeable and friendly. The guys at this shop know the product inside and out and are able to break it down so it is easy to understand. But they will feel out and get technical with you if that's your jam.

I purchase audio gear infrequently these days, but Custom Electronics is always my "go to" resource. Tim was invaluable helping me reconstruct my system some years back, and remains my first point of contact to understand changes and impacts as the industry evolves. When my kids got a little carried away and "smoked a tweeter" in my primary speakers, the service was thoughtful and attentive. Creating a satisfying music reproduction system requires foundational knowledge in acoustics, physics, electrical principles and an understanding of and appreciation for music. These folks bring the disciplines together to create quality systems and enjoyable experiences.

I have known Larry Covalcuic and Todd Pierson for 40 years or more. Larry recently sold Custom Electronics to Todd. It is an excellent source for audio and video equipment and the personnel are professional and caring. Custom Electronics has facilitated my enjoyment of audio and video projection equipment and were major contributors when I put an addition on my house to include a very nice home theater installation. As you can imagine I endorse these folks without reservation.

My generation called our two-channel audio “hi-fi” and we upgraded our equipment over the years as we could afford it. It is fortunate that Custom Electronics is still around. I am a past customer who recently auditioned three models from the Magneplanar speaker line. I appreciated the staff allowing me to play my own music so I could make my own judgments. They know their product and there was no hype or pressure to buy. I did order a pair of speakers and having received them and listened for a few days, I am very happy with my buying experience.

They are all life long high end experts in the field of the high end of electronics for entertainment, from turntables and audio equipment to audiovisual systems. They are there to guide you in what you can have and most important, they know how to put together a system and match equipment for the best results

The guys at Custom Electronics are highly knowledgeable and very friendly. They don't try to sell you on things you don't need or pressure you into buying something -- they're there to help you get what's right for you. I'd recommend Custom Electronics to anyone looking for high quality audio equipment.

This place has been very friendly. Very helpful and very professional for a very long time. Custom installs home theaters, This is the place to go. Sure. You can get some of these products cheaper at NFM but when I have priced the higher end products such as the Samsung frame monitors, I found this place to be very competitive with them. I like to see my money, go to a good small business then be given it to Warren B. I'm still using a 30-year-old counterpoint preamp that I bought as a display here. I've also purchased three sets of grado headphones here over the years.

Stopped into Custom Electronics the other day. Has been awhile since I last visited with Todd and Tim. As always, they were quick to greet me and ask how I and my son have been doing during the COVID pandemic. Always more interested in me as a person than trying to sell me something. I have been doing business with Custom Electronics since the mid-seventies and have ALWAYS had a great experience (starting when Larry was the owner). Always take the time to discuss what I may be interested in and offering great advice. I still have and use equipment I purchased back in the day with upgrades I have made over the years. They offer investment grade electronics that last and still sound good to this day. Never make me feel bad when I don't make a purchase and take time to show me what is new and what I might have an interest in hearing a demo of a new line or products. Always a fun place to visit. This is the place for all of you audio and video needs, great and lasting products. If you have never visited, take some time to see what they have.By far the best place for audio gear in the city!!

My experience with Custom Electronic was outstanding. Had them redo my home theater to include installation of new ceiling speakers, mounting of new screen and my old projector, and installing a lot of new equipment. Also bought a fantastic pair of GoldenEar speakers from them for a different system. All great values and with excellent service. Thank you CE for the help.

1/14/26: I consulted Custom Electronics a second time because I wanted to upgrade my TV. Todd answered all my questions and made choosing one very easy and stress free. He recommended one based on my viewing habits and ordered it right away. In a few weeks his installation team arrived and installed the TV, integrating it with my home stereo system that I also purchased from them (see following review). It’s so nice to have a business in town that deals in good equipment, and has representatives who are knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. I could not be happier with both of my experiences working with them. The installation team arrived a couple of guys who are respectful of your home, efficient, and humorous.
